This year, the 30th anniversary of the International Conference and Exhibition “Oil & Gas of Turkmenistan – OGT” coincides with another historic milestone – the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s recognition as a permanently Neutral State by the United Nations on 12 December 1995. Over the past three decades, Neutrality has become the cornerstone of Turkmenistan’s state policy, shaping its diplomatic standing, anchoring stability, and opening pathways for constructive economic cooperation. In the energy sector, neutrality provides the essential framework for Turkmenistan to act as a reliable partner to all sides, ensuring predictability and trust in cross border projects that link national resources with international markets. OGT 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s flagship energy forum at a moment when global markets demand both reliability and rapid transition. From super-giant gas projects and cross-border connectivity to methane reduction and new investment models, this year’s program is built for decision-quality conversations and bankable outcomes.
