Coinciding with CIET 2025, the western region of Turkmenistan will see the launch of several landmark infrastructure projects that demonstrate the nation’s long-term development strategy: the opening of the automobile bridge across Garabogaz Bay, the inauguration of the Turkmenbashi–Garabogaz–Kazakhstan highway section, the foundation-laying of a urea-production plant in Turkmenbashi district with an annual capacity of 1.155 million tons, and the commissioning of a new water treatment facility in Esenguly district capable of processing 20,000 cubic meters of drinking water per day. 

Together with the upcoming CIET 2025 events, these initiatives highlight Turkmenistan’s  commitment to strengthening its industrial base, enhancing connectivity, and unlocking the full transport-logistics potential of the country.
