CONFERENCES EVENTS

11.02.2026

11 Feb, 2026

CIET 2025 is attracting unprecedented international participation. For the first time, DAMAC Properties, one of the Middle East’s leading developers headquartered in Dubai, will join the event. Renowned for its landmark residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, DAMAC’s participation signals growing investor interest in Turkmenistan’s construction and tourism potential. Other distinguished participants include Ahmet Çalık, Chairman of Çalık Holding, Turkmenistan’s long-standing strategic partner in infrastructure and energy; and Vladimir Petruk, CEO of Interbudmontazh Group , who will speak in the plenary session on sustainable construction and industrial partnerships. This year’s agenda also welcomes global leaders from the digital and AI sectors – reflecting the convergence of technology and infrastructure. Bitdeer Technologies Group, a NASDAQ-listed pioneer in AI-driven computing and data-center solutions, will share insights on digital transformation and industrial efficiency. Wirtgen Group (Germany) and POSCO International (Republic of Korea) will highlight advanced construction machinery and integrated supply-chain solutions.   In the chemicals and fertilizer sectors, Ella Mukerjee, Head of Ammonia and Nitrogen at Fertecon (S&P Global), will analyze investment prospects in Turkmenistan’s growing fertilizer industry. Richard Dionne of CONNEX Support Unit will discuss renewable-energy integration, while Jeffrey Macdonald, Managing Editor at S&P Global Commodity Insights, will present data on global trends in cement, fertilizer, and building-materials markets. Moderating one of the headline sessions will be Hermann J. Plenaar, Head of the UN-Habitat Program Department in Nairobi, who will lead the discussion “Smart and Sustainable Construction:

Digitalization, Innovation and Human Capital Development”. His involvement underscores the alignment between Turkmenistan’s national development priorities and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Conference Themes and Key Sessions

CIET 2025 will open with the Construction, Energy, and Industry in the Year of Peace and Trust: Sustainable Growth, Investment, and Cooperation. This high-level discussion will explore how infrastructure and energy projects are driving regional integration, fostering public private partnerships, and attracting sustainable investment.  Four major thematic tracks will guide the two-day program: Smart and Sustainable Construction: Digitalization, Innovation, and Workforce Development. Building for the Future: Materials, Cities and Climate Adaptation. Reliable Energy and Competitive Chemical Industries for Growth. Financing the Future: Mobilizing Capital for Sustainable Infrastructure. Each session aims to translate dialogue into actionable pathways for sustainable growth, industrial diversification, and technology partnership.

Avaza – A Symbol of Progress

Hosting CIET 2025 in Avaza reflects Turkmenistan’s strategic focus on balanced and accelerated national development.  The conference will spotlight the country’s ongoing infrastructure transformation – from the smart city of Arkadag and major urban projects in Ashgabat to the expansion of industrial clusters, transport corridors, and multi-purpose complexes across the regions. Bringing together leading investors, developers, and technology providers, CIET 2025 will promote investment in high-priority projects such as modern residential districts, smart-city systems, industrial parks, tourism infrastructure, and integrated construction-energy initiatives. Complementing  the conference will be festive events – including the official opening ceremony, cultural performances, and a gala dinner – honoring those who build Turkmenistan’s future.
